CP Uche Ifeanyi Henry REPRESENTS THE  INSPECTOR GENERAL  OF POLICE  AT  THE  GLOBAL PROGRAM  ON CYBERCRIME  IN  VIENNA, AUSTRIA. 

Commissioner of Police Uche Ifeanyi Henry, Director of the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre, proudly represented the Inspector General of Police IGP Kayode Egbetokun mni, PhD,  at the Global Program on Cybercrime held in Vienna, Austria, on 22nd May 2025.

Themed “Strengthening Asia-Africa Cooperation Against Cyber-Enabled Fraud and Scams,” the international forum brought together cybercrime experts.

Delivering a compelling presentation titled:“Fighting Scams: Diverse Modalities and Its Linkages with Asia- The Nigerian Experience,”
CP Uche Henry highlighted Nigeria’s recent breakthroughs in cybercrime cases with strong links to Asia. He shared insights on operational strategies, intelligence collaboration, and successful joint efforts that have led to notable arrests and dismantling of transnational cybercrime networks.

He emphasized the urgent need for cross-border cooperation, transparency, and information sharing, stressing that no single nation can tackle cybercrime in isolation. the global fight against cyber-enabled fraud and scams is now.
